Watching it I feel like it's the sort of thing that inspired me to join the party in the first place - those issues of social justice I'm sure resonate loudly with many party members.But that's the problem, this is a language for those of us that are already on side. No doubt we need to here those messages - and we've not had Gordon and the Cabinet doing enough of that - but it's hardly the language of middle Britain is it?And that's the difference between Brown and Blair. Blair could find ways of talking about our core values that chimed with a wider audience, Brown struggles to do so while sharing many of the same political convictions.
Disagree, Brown's unpopularity stems from not having said it before in such a way.Sad it has taken until now.
