PaulThanks for the Behan clip, a class act. It has cheered me no end.
It's a lovely one, innit Mick?It was in the late 1950s and I think he's in Canada at the time (he hated Canada - he went there in an attempt to moderate his social life)He said that he arrived at the airport and saw a sign that said 'Drink Canada Dry' - which he saw as a challenge. He said 'Toronto will be a nice town when it's finished...'He was, though, heading towards his defeat by then. He'd had a few bad knocks and wasn't well and it kinda shows in the clip.
