Much has been made of the potential that the Internet has to mobilise support for Obama. It's also worth thinking about the potential that it has to mobilise the already-started 'impeach Obama' campaign (only 4,879 members so far....).

This is, of course, only half-serious at the moment. But look at the Ken Starr level of attack that the Republicans could sustain a few years ago, and think about the potential that the internet offers to keep something like this bubbling along. It makes you wonder, dunnit? Are rednecks with guns are the biggest threat to liberal democracy in the US?
