Private Schultz is a favourite of mine - I even read the novelisation! I can't ever see it being repeated on any UK channel. A show whose major characters are SS officers is going to be condemned as anti-semitic, in poor taste, offensive to holocaust survivors, etc, etc. A pity as it was a spendid series and was none of those things.

'Dweebs' - the only programme about programmers. In fact, the only program about engineers. Forerunner of 'The IT Crowd', except that it was funny.
Private Schulz was screened in New Zealand or Australia, but I'm sure it was much later than 1981.
